Preparation steps

    Heat milk with split vanilla bean.

    Whisk yolks, sugar and cornstarch.

    Pour hot milk over yolks. Return to heat, cook until thick.

    Add butter. Cover surface with cling film.

    Cool completely. Load into piping bag for filling.
