Preparation steps

    Make vanilla anglaise base: milk, cream, vanilla, yolks, sugar. Cook to 82°C.

    Cool rapidly, mature 4h.

    Churn in ice cream machine.

  4. 4

    Near end of churning, drizzle in melted dark chocolate in a thin stream.

  5. 5

    Chocolate sets into thin shards. Transfer to container, freeze.
