Preparation steps

    Dissolve yeast in warm water + 1 pinch of sugar.

    Mix flour, eggs, sugar, salt, oil and yeast: speed 1 for 4 min, speed 2 for 6 min.

    Bulk ferment 1h30 under film until doubled.

  4. 4

    Degas, divide into 3 or 6 equal strands.

  5. 5

    Braid tightly (3-strand or 6-strand braid).

  6. 6

    Place on tray, egg wash.

  7. 7

    Proof 45 min. Egg wash again, sprinkle sesame seeds.

  8. 8

    Bake 30-35 min at 180°C. Crust should be deep golden.
