Preparation steps

    Melt chocolate and butter together. Cool slightly.

    Whisk eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.

    Fold in sifted flour and cocoa powder.

  4. 4

    Fold in melted chocolate-butter mixture.

  5. 5

    Pour into buttered and floured loaf tin.

  6. 6

    Bake 30-35 min at 170°C.

  7. 7

    Cool 10 min in tin, then unmould onto rack.
